Christ is Born!

Glorify Him!

Dear Friends,

As we begin this Christmas Season, we thank you all for your thoughtfulness, your generosity, your fervent requests for prayers, and your kind messages, etc. throughout this year.  We are energized by your presence among us and are grateful to you.

As the commercial world soon decides to move on from Christmas to the next profitable holiday (yes, Valentines, and even Easter candy has already been spotted in some areas), I assure you that, we, the Sisters of St. Basil the Great, Mt. St. Macrina, Uniontown, will be very much centered on this beautiful Season of Christmas, the prayers accompanying the Feast, the gentle movement toward the Feast of St. Basil (aka New Year’s Day), the Feast of Theophany, etc.

God calls us all to be faithful, in whatever walk of life we find ourselves.  There are times in our lives where we find ourselves more faithful than at other times.  Our Lord knows this and loves us through it all.

Dear friends, please know that we sisters will always be, first and foremost, faithful to our good and gracious God, faithful in our prayers for each and every one of you, and faithful to wherever our mission and ministries lead us.

Wishing you a most blessed and joyful Christmas Season!

Sister Susan and the Sisters of St. Basil the Great
